Because of that, Google is now the dominate Search Engine giant.

Although Google is #1, it also knows that it can only be so as long as it continues to present the best search results. Billions are spent by search engines every year to keep fine tuning and adjust the algorithm to weed out the unwanted information. SEO works to make the clients website rank high enough within those search results to promote the needed business traffic.
